PopPublic Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
What PopPublic does
PopPublic helps you create a listing once and then autofills marketplace forms you open (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Nextdoor). You always review and click Post. PopPublic does not auto-post and does not ask for your marketplace passwords.
Data we process
- Listing data you provide (e.g., title, description, price, category) so the extension can autofill forms.
- Photos you upload so the extension can upload them to supported marketplaces.
- Optional location if you use "detect location" to prefill a city/area.
Storage and third parties
- Your listings and photos are stored in the Supabase project configured by the extension operator.
- If enabled, HEIC→JPEG conversion is performed by your configured API only to convert images for upload; images are not retained.
What we do NOT collect
- No marketplace credentials, passwords, cookies, or session tokens.
- No sale or sharing of your personal information.
- No tracking of your browsing outside supported marketplace pages.
Permissions and why
scripting, activeTab, tabs: interact with supported marketplace pages you open.
sidePanel: display the listing manager beside the active marketplace page.
geolocation (optional): fill city/area when you choose to detect location.
host_permissions for marketplace and storage domains: required to interact with those pages you open.
How your data is used
Only to prefill forms and upload photos on pages you open. PopPublic does not auto-submit listings. Data flows are visible via the in-extension debug panel.
Your choices
- Delete listings/photos from your Supabase project at any time.
- Uninstalling the extension removes local extension data from your browser.
- Disable location detection if you prefer not to use it.
Children's privacy
PopPublic is not intended for children under 13.
